A personal request from the heart. πŸ’™

Reader,

I’m writing today with a vulnerable request. πŸ™πŸΌ This is SO out of my comfort zone, and I am NOT used to asking for help in this way. So thank you for your kindness.

(And if you're - in ANY way - struggling yourself right now, please read no further - and just know that I'm so glad you're here.)

Some people don't realize that I'm a small one-person operation. There's no big team running things behind the scenes. And aside from the occasional virtual assistant and contracted outside help, it's just me (and the love of my family) making it work.

Over the last 15+ years, I've been able to grow this community and help sustain my family by creating resources, classes, and tools to help parents and professionals like you.

Many of you have been part of this amazing community for years - some even a decade or more. You've seen my journey evolve from "Mom on a mission" to steadfast advocate and educator - leading us to where we are today.

It's been a gift to serve tens of thousands of families with my newsletters, YouTube videos, cards, and now, almost 16 years of online classes.

However, a lot has changed over the last few years...

Industry shifts combined with personal circumstances (including some hard-hitting family losses and health-related obstacles) have made it a challenge to get the bills paid.

I’ve always been able to push through during a crisis and rise above the challenges (okay, maybe there’s a bit of trauma-induced hyper-independence in there, too).

But lately, it's been harder than ever.

I know I'm not the only educator who’s had to pivot more than once to keep their work afloat. But for the first time, it's reached a critical level.

Today, I'm asking for community support to help me keep the lights on through the end of the year.

While I've always focused on creating value to share with you, it's not quite enough to bridge the gap right now. Despite cutting back - slower-than-normal sales and rising monthly costs have made it extremely difficult to operate normally.

🌱 And this is why I'm asking for your support today.

If my work has added value to your life, helped you navigate a tough moment, or provided tools that you carry with you, any contribution would mean so much.

My goal is to make it through this difficult period without compromising the heart of what I do. No amount is too small to make a difference, and I appreciate anything you can contribute!

If you'd like to help, I've tried to make it as convenient as possible, with a few options to donate/support.

1. You can check out my Donation-Based Webinars and choose a topic that speaks to your needs.

2. You can Venmo or Paypal support directly via the links or these QR codes.

3. And, of course, my cards and courses are always available (+ everything is currently on sale!)

Reader - you and everyone in this community are the reason I've been able to impact families in need hope and offer them the possibility of creating real change.

I don't want to see my life's work disappear, so I'm continuing to explore new platforms, partnerships, and cooperative ventures with other leaders to guide this vision onto the next journey (especially the cards, which have helped so many).

Any aid received will be used exclusively for regular business expenses, including:

  • monthly tech/web services
  • rent and utilities
  • card storage/printing fees

- everything I need to deliver the content you (and thousands of others) rely on to empower you to create strong relationships with your kids.

Every bit of help keeps this mission alive.

And, of course, I completely understand that times are tough for many. If this isn't a good time for you, please feel absolutely no pressure to contribute - your presence alone has already been a gift!

Your commitment to creating a more compassionate world means the world to me. Thank you so much for your generosity, and I'll see you soon with another video tip!

Warmly,
