Knowing what to say (instead of lecturing) so your kids WANT to "listen."

Reader -

I meant to send this yesterday, but... ahh, the best-laid plans.

Does that happen with your kids? You think things will go one way, and then—WHAM—somehow, it all goes off the rails (and all you did was ask a simple question!!). 😩

If you have a sensitive or neurodivergent child and you've noticed miscommunication (or a lack of communication altogether) is one of your family's biggest roadblocks - I feel you (and I've got you)! 🙌🏻

Sensitive and neurodivergent kids can seem to:

  • be Rigid or inflexible.
  • act "bossy" or "want their way."
  • misinterpret emotions or social cues.
  • be oblivious to someone's boundaries.
  • shut down emotionally when conflict arises.
  • react aggressively if they're asked to do something.

This can feel like your child is being purposefully difficult or defiant - especially if we don't know what else to do or say.

That's why I've included a 48-hour bonus communication class - just for you because you're on my email list - when you enroll (today) in the Supporting Sensitive Children Live Series!

✨ Join us today by 3 pm EDT (deadline extended 📝) and turn your relationship around in as little as 3 weeks with the straightforward (actionable) framework in my Conscious Communication Course.

I want to help you build influence that lasts (not just rely on behavior band-aids).

👉🏻 What to Do Next: Grab your spot in our upcoming Live Sensitive Kids class, and then look for the Conscious Communication Series in your dashboard.

Stop repeating requests and preaching about rules and limits (that your kids already know)!

And instead, start speaking (instead of lecturing) in ways that make your kids WANT to meet your expectations (and not slump their shoulders and avert your gaze).

And of course, always, always, always remember, it's about being conscious - not perfect!

Here's your link to grab it all.

Warmly,

p.s. Remember - the 48-hour bonus expires today, May 2, @3 pm ET!

You CAN break past limitations and old belief patterns that keep you stuck.

"You help me every day to do better - although old ways are deeply ingrained. I want to thank you for all that you give and share. I am inspired." —Shaylin Smith.

"I'm a mother of four, and you have been a critical part of my parenting. Thank you so much for what you do!" —Norah Staples.

"I just want to thank you. You have helped change the way I parent." Nadia Carelse
